I found this film opening sequence on Watch the Titles website. What titles are displayed during the opening sequence? In this opening sequence, there were actors names, directors names, music creators names, producer names, and more of the main people who participated in something directly toward the movie. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? Each image was unique and added to the opening sequence. The images consisted of one person or more in each image either with guns or smoking.  All the letter were white bold words that stood out in each image. Each image changed colors but was only showed one color. For example one image was blue with black the next image was green and black and then the next one was pink and black. What connotations do these images carry? The colorful images gave some excitement and action to be expected. Also, there were guns in some of the images which could indicate that the movie was going to be about a mafia. Also the people smoking and drugs added more detail leading to infer about it being based on a mafia or gang group. How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? It establishes a feeling of thriller because of the music and the images. The music is pump and it adds excitement to images which is an element of thriller movies. The images of the people with either weapons or smoking adds to creating tension and suspense. The tension and suspense is created because in some of the images you can see the gun being fired. This lead to the feeling of mafia or gang members in a war or fighting. What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? The music is for sure one of the strategies in targeting the audience. The reason for me saying that is because the music is catchy and it gets you in a mood. The images also appeal to the eye with the colorfulness. The firearms in the images are also a good attention grabber because people know there is going to be violence in the film which can be exciting. How has technology been used effectively? Actions like zoom worked effectively on focusing close up in someone's face. Many movements like tilt and pan worked effectively in helping see the image. The transitions were very smooth and different each time which worked in making the film more interesting and amusing.
