Music video project

This was my third project for this class that has involved me to film and edit. Since, I have become more familiar with the tools, editing wasn't hard. This was my first project ever done for the length of 1 minute. My last project was only 30 seconds so I did have to be more creative for this project since it was double the length. At first I was like 1 minute seems supper long but then when we started filming we realized it wasn't enough. But, it was a new experience since it was the first ever music video I have ever done. I personally have trouble with being creative. I can never do creative thing or think of stuff but for this project I was actually able to be creative. With this project I learned something new about myself and it's that my creativeness is making ideas for film. Me and my partner worked well even though finding a date to film was hard. The outcome of this video was actually surprising and I liked it. It was different since not only did me and my partner had to make up scenes but also, we had to tell a story. The song we choose actually helped us out with the story. Since, the song itself had a story we just tried our best to go along with it. We didn't literally follow the lyrics but just based it off and it worked well. Filming was fun and enjoyable. We recorded with my phone and it was just supper easily to then upload them to my computer which made the editing seem supper easy. But, overall this was a nice new project to do. It tested out my filming and editing skills with me also applying my knowledge of what I know and learned. We used different techniques throughout the film. One of the main camera movements we did during most of the film was track. Some shots we involved in the film were close-up, mid shots, and long shots.
